Weeks Kit Stage 2

Now in stock: https://shop.sasquatchparts.com/shop/in ... berty-crd/

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Features:

- No more cutting and crimping or welding the factory tube.
- No need for tapping/plugging - or buying a huge drill bit, tap and plug, etc.
- Just remove the factory EGR tube and replace with this plug using the existing clamp and you are done (and it's fully reversible).
- Detailed, step-by-step removal and installation instructions with annotated photos.

Alongside a Weeks Kit Stage 1 and our upcoming Weeks Kit Stage 2, this will allow for the full removal of the entire EGR system and all of its components in a fully-reversible manner: EGR valve, manifold, cooler, coolant lines, and exhaust-side EGR tube, without any welding or tapping--no removing the exhaust manifold!

- Weeks Kit Stage 1 - bypasses EGR valve, fully deletes FCV, increased flow over stock elbow, facilitates easier glow plug changes.
- Weeks Kit Stage 2 - fully deletes EGR valve, EGR cooler, EGR manifold, EGR coolant lines, and exhaust-side EGR tube.

Would this be used in conjunction with a EGR/FCV bypass tube and in place of the Weeks kit?

The 'Weeks' intake elbow kit bypasses the EGR valve by eliminating the intake-side EGR tube. This plug facilitates the removal of the exhaust-side EGR tube by plugging the port on the manifold. I have gotten tons of requests in the past for an easy way to remove that tube. Not everyone has access to a welder or is comfortable tapping their exhaust manifold port.

Alongside a 'Weeks" intake elbow kit and our upcoming coolant line delete kit (coming soon), this will allow for the full removal of the entire EGR system and all of its components in a fully-reversible manner: EGR valve, manifold, cooler, coolant lines, and exhaust-side EGR tube, without any welding or tapping.

- Stage 1: Weeks Elbow Kit - bypasses EGR valve, deletes FCV, increased flow over stock elbow, and facilitates easier glow plug changes.
- Stage 2: Manifold Plug & Coolant Line Bypass - deletes EGR valve, cooler, manifold, coolant lines, and exhaust-side EGR tube.

when will the coolant bypass be available? So with the manifold plug and coolant bypass will I still need to install the weeks kit?

Very soon.

Well, that would be one way to do it. Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Either option will stop EGR flow, but they accomplish it in different ways and require different methods of installation. And only with the 'Weeks' intake elbow kit can you delete your FCV and get far better access to glow plugs as well as improved flow and a generally simplified intake system that is less prone to boost leaks. Only with both can you fully delete the entire system.

I will buy 4 of them. How about some high flow hard tube that replaces inlet intercooler hose? Stop all that balloon swelling and ripping perhaps.

I was just looking for something like this. I'm in the process of deleting everything egr related. I was actually looking at external waste gate block off plates. Let's do it, I could use one like now lol. What are your plans for the coolant delete / reroute? I planned on just putting a new plug in the block and getting rid of the y

I'll be needing one please! Just read the rest of you're post regarding the coolant pipe delete, I'm in for one of those also! I may as well do this right while I've got the engine out.

Would also be interested in the coolant line delete. Would be nice to clean up the engine bay a little more.
EGR delete is already done along with the hot tune.

I have still yet to install my weeks stage 1 kit. Can I successfully Install the stage one kit without the manifold plug. Plus can we get a picture of where the plug goes exactly..
I would definitely be in for one plug.

As Weeks said, the Intake elbow is worth it for the ease of maintenance alone.

Yes, you don't need the plug unless you want to fully remove the EGR valve (rather than just bypass it). The plug facilitates the removal of the rear EGR tube, which must be done to remove the EGR valve. To do this right you would also need to remove the EGR valve cooler and lines and we will soon have parts for that also.

But again, none of this is required, just optional if you want to remove everything.

Ah great thanks for the clarification, will the the EGR cooler kit also come with the plug. If so maybe I'll just wait for the whole kit.

Sure, we could do a bundle that would include:

- Machined exhaust manifold plug (above)
- Threaded cylinder head plug and seal (replaces hose barb connecting to EGR cooler hose)
- Straight barb fitting (replaces Y fitting at thermostat)
- New stainless steel clamps
