Hi all,

Just received my updated fuel head in the mail with the new wiring kit.

Can some one tell me what these are for and where they go?

Cheers

Chris

I've done several of these in the US and the wiring kit typically has
1. 2 sets of color coded wires although you only need one.
2. a new plug
3. a blue wire retainer
4. these silly things which are crimp type wire connectors that I don't trust.

To install
1. disconnect battery
2. pull old head heating plug and match the new wires best you can based on size not color
3. thread new wires, based on match thru the new plug
4. use the blue retainer to clamp the new wires in the new plug.
5. one at a time cut the old wires and splice in the new wires. I like either solder or marine grade butt connectors with heat shrink tubing not the supplied junk.
6. finish replacing head, plug in wires, reconnect battery, prime head, drive.
