Is it sad I recite this every time I get in my truck?

So did my astro van. Granted it made the same power as a 1.6L Honda civic with 4.3L |

Most 10 year old cars don't have special order parts made of what seems like gold. |

I was thinking when I saw this post of Mine. Thanks for the ability to get in and out Safely. The same as when I enter the boat, or the start a hunting and fishing trip. Have a Safe one All! kayaker2 |

camo wrote: Is that any different from most 10 year old cars? ![]() I think the point is that probability of failure is not the issue rather the cost and availability of parts and knowledge. Heck, things are so bad I've encountered dealers around here that won't even hook the CRD up to their DRBIII. "Sorry Sir, we don't work on that model!" |

I guess I consider myself lucky and I've had very few diesel specific problems in the last 5-6 years of ownership. I'd buy another VM powered vehicle without hesitation, but might think twice before buying another Jeep, especially living in the rust belt. |

No car can withstand this salt, I saw 10+ old vw and audis with holes in the body. I guess washing the salt as often as possible is the best antidote. I specifically installed a hot water hose in the garage to clean the undercarriage of the vehicles I drive through salt in the winter. This, plus proper undercarriage maintenance will help a lot. At least it's easier to wash the undercarriage of a jeep due to being raised more than a regular vehicle, lol. |
