This is the updated part. Only works with 5V systems that have had the update done. I broke off my 7V and used this to plug the hole until I could find another 7V plug. Was in my truck maybe 3 weeks, has never had power to it.
Asking $120 CDN. ImageImage

I seriously hope you've made a mistake or are messing around with us. ID Parts will sell you one brand new for $25. Your second hand one is worth no more than $10US - I don't care how long it has been in service, it is still used..

My mistake it was $148 new. Thought maybe I'd help someone out but apparently if you help out an ( * ) you'll get doo doo on.

Glad to see the American forums are filled with the same internet keyboard technicians as the Canadian ones.

Part is still available if anyone needs it.

Not trying to pile on but the current going price for a kit of 4 OEM 5v steel glow plugs and controller (PN68090434AA) in the US is ca. $135. I recall back when they first came out that was the kit price but some $ hunger dealers were also selling individual plugs for about the kit price. Unfortunately it looks like you "lucked" into one of those dealers. Sorry about that.

There is lots of forum debate about the relative merits (e.g. functionality) of the OEM 5v metal plugs which require an ECU flash vs. the Etecno1 7v drop in metal plugs (no flash needed) that run ca. $25 each from idParts (somewhat more if you ordered direct before idParts did a bulk buy). Best I can say is the consensus is neither is quite as good at really cold starts and the original 7v ceramics but at least the metal ones don't break inside the combustion chamber.

Retail in Canada on the 0434AA number is $261. I'm about ready to sell my Libby anyways.
