Check for a frayed wire behind the fuel head filter.... It a well known issue with the 2006 CRD. The wire harness behind the fuel heal filter assembly gets cut being in tight quarters...... Chaffed wires. Inspect wire harness behind fuel head. |

What racertracer said^^^ Also this is a typical symptom of a clogged fuel filter or air in the filter head....try priming the filter head. |

If not a fuel or wiring harness problem as stated above, probably the crank sensor, they are notorious for intermittent operation during the motor warm up cycle. It will stop the motor and in most cases give no codes (DTC), and then will allow a restart until the next time it quits functioning properly again.... |
