I recently got the CRD serviced at the dealer while doing the recall and state inspection. My nephew has been driving the Liberty because I have a company car. He told me today that the jeep was low on power when he picked it up so he reloaded the GDE Eco-tune. And that it's still not up to where it was. I just looked at the receipt and the jeep was re flashed by the dealer. Had I known I'd have likely been emailing GDE to see if I needed to redo the file for an up date. Does anyone know if I'll need an update from GDE or if it's an issue? |

depends on what services you had the dealer do. did you have your glow plugs changed to steel 5v? that requires a reflash or with the GDE tune an update. I would think if no changes were made other than hitch or lower rear control arms you could reload the tune and be back to where you were. |

I'm not sure. The recall was the hitch. The receipt just says software updates were applied. I suppose I'll find out when I go over there to ask about the transmission service. It seems they didn't change the spin on filter according to the receipt. But I am having drain back issues now and never had it before. So either they did and it's faulty or something else is going on. That's what I get for being lazy and not doing the tranny service myself. |
