Hey everyone, just got a CRD and I've got a question about the transmission: When the engine is cold and I put it into reverse or drive it seems to hesitate, as if there's nothing in the torque converter. The transmission has been recently serviced and when the engine is warmed up it's got no problems at all, but when it's cold I have to rev the engine a little just to move. Any ideas?

It's the common transmission drainback problem.
Check your transmission fluid level. If it's full, add a quart.
Let your engine idle in N for a min before putting it in gear.
