I have diff and trans pans on the GMC for going on 8 years with no issues or complaints. They took powder coating really well and it too is holding up great.

For that price, you might want to consider a G2. This is offered in a version that provides extra support for the carrier bearings and a dip stick, along with temp sender port. Very happy with ours.

I looked at the G2 and the Nitro differential covers, also. I prefer the design of the PML cover. It has a side fill. You add gear oil until it runs out......like the factory cover. No guessing.

I installed the PML rear diff cover yesterday. The side fill hole makes it is much easier to add gear oil to the diff than the factory cover. It can be filled from a quart sized gear oil bottle without using a pump or a hose. The drain plug will make oil changes much easier in the future. Oil capacity has increased to 3.25 quarts.
