Since I had my injectors out, and could not resist blowing an extra $40 bucks per injector, I took them to Central Motive in Denver for bench testing. Two passed all the tests. Two passed everything except fueling at full load. They were slightly low. The spec is 87.2 ± 5.5, and my #3 injector came in at 81.0 and #4 came in at 78.95. I should have asked about uncertainty in measurement. At the cost of new injectors, or rebuilt for that matter, I think I'll take my chances.

I just had to buy an injector.
Check this place out.
http://www.commonraildiesels.com/
They are based in the uk where I am, but do global shipping. May be of use to you.
They offer a brand new or a recon unit with 12 month warranty. I went for the recon. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. I don't understand how that site can sell new Bosch injectors for so much cheaper than everywhere else. There's two injectors listed for the 2.8 CRD, so I don't know which I have, but the prices are $210 and $270 US. Everywhere over here in the US, they are more than double for new. His remans are $140 US. Here they are $400.

Sometimes markets get treated to special "country specific pricing". We're used to this up here and call it gouging.

...but I suspect in this case it's simply supply and demand. His market is much larger and his supply chain back to the manufacturer in China is probably a lot shorter.

I assume that the different models are where the different injector codes come in. You may want to touch base with Keith to clarify if the ECU can support a mix of injectors or if they all need to match before ordering.
