I'm thinking about having the local sign shop make a pair of VM Motori badges for my Liberty. The big pickups have that Cummins badge, why not the Libertys? I'm sure it won't be too much for them to simply scan a VM Motori logo off the internet and make them, I had them make a ScoutII badge for my Scout a few years back. They would be color and made in a "tasteful" size, like 2-3" long. Anyone else interested in a pair? All the expense is in the setup, if I ordered several pairs the cost would probably be along the lines of $5/pair. Let me know.

Matt

I'd be interested in a set, and you may want to drop an email to Corey at IDparts (I don't know his direct email address) and ask if maybe they might want to buy a bulk order and offer them on the site.

I'll be in town tomorrow and should have time to drop by the sign shop. I'll see what I learn.

ID Parts can't sell them, something about trademark violations...

So the local sign shop can make a simple "chrome" vinyl cutout of the standard stylized VM - triangle - VM Motori logo for $10/pair. I figured chrome would look the best on our cars, since they're all different colors and all the other badges are chrome.

A second idea would be even more awesome but a bit more involved. I'm thinking "Turbo Diesel" around the VM logo, something similar to a sticker that was developed by some members here a few years ago:

Image

Only Chrome on Black, and a more modern font for the TURBO DIESEL, and maybe just the stylized VM and triangle in the center. I looked into having actual domed logo badges made, and they can be done for about the same price, $10/pair, but they have a minimum of 50. I can't sit on that much unsold merch lol. So I'll try to get something drawn up and post it here, and see if we can get a list of 25 people to buy them?

I would be in for stickers and domed badges. That design looks great, and would certainly look sharp on the vehicle.

So I was pondering how to make a round badge that didn't look lame, then decided to try to make something that would go in front of the "Trail Rated" badge. Pretty happy with it. The finished product will be black printed on a chrome/silver background--the printing should make it more resiliant than cut out letters, and should also make it cheaper since someone at the sign shop doesn't have to pick out the microscopic waste in the center of the O's and P's.

The link to the file is: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8haa ... XlFRG13dWc

I think if you open it up with Paint it should print at correct scale. It will be exactly as tall as the Trail Rated badge, 2 3/8" x 5" long.

I'll get prices Monday hopefully.

Do you think you could match the font to the Trail Rated badge?

ordered 10 of them today. My cost is $5 each. So, send me a SASE and a fiver and I'll put a sticker in it and drop it in the mail. They are black printed on "brushed" aluminum/chrome, the sign shop guy says they should last at least 4 years in harsh conditions, double that if not parked in the sun / scrubbed on. They're vinyl so they can be warmed up and peeled off.

I'll probably pick them up next Monday.

I'll take a picture of it and figure out how to get the picture posted up here once I get mine mounted.

As far as matching the font of the Trail Rated badge, sorry that's way beyond my level of expertise.
