Thanks flash and Mountain.

I have found the bilstein hd strut for $88 each free shipping.

Bilstein rear hd for $74 each

$350 for the hd set.

Trying to find the OME set has been taxing ....

You don't have to use Bilstiens on the rear.
IMO, the rear shocks are not as important.
What is important is that your rear shocks be long enough for the lift.
I use Skyjacker rear shocks for a 2 inch lift. I like them a lot but there are many other options that are probably better.

If you haven't been on the JeepinByAl website you should browse through there for ideas.

I got the crd all buttoned up and back on the road. All I can say is ... wish I had got this little tractor sooner. such a great little power plant. plenty of power at stock settings , off course I have all my weeks kit installed so that helped. Next step tune the
the bugger a bit and see how she does.

Just ordered the ome 2790/2948 coils full brake kit rotors and ceramic pads, upper rear control arm Boomerang. Need some suggestions on shocks and struts ....

next step new motor mounts

I have had my CRD since new, and though I have always babied it quite a bit, every now and again I like to take advantage of that power. Today for example a pickup tried to cut ipast a long line at a red light by pulling up next to me at the light knowing full well that his lane was going to end about 50 feet after the intersection. I was pleasantly surprised at my accidental wheel squeal and little cloud of black smoke I left in his grill.

I have both GDE engine and transmission tunes and you won't regret getting them yourself. It's almost impossible to leave clouds of black smoke because the engine runs so efficiently, but you'll notice the smoother operation and cleaner oil. Best mod I've made on this Jeep hands down. I'm at 150k and I think I got the tunes around 60k. They work.
