I have a aftermarket fuel filter head with no sensors I'd like to delete the stock filter head Will using this generate DTC? |

There are two sensor (water and temperature) connectors and a heater connector on the original fuel head. I am sure you will get a code if you remove the sensor connectors. If you live in colder climate then heater is a good safety feature. If you really care about better fuel filtering then add another filter AFTER the factory filter like this thread: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=80139. |

You will get a CEL if the temp sensor is unplugged. You can just pull that part from the original head and leave connected or The temp sensor can be fooled using a 100 ohm 1/4 resistor across the leads. The Heater connector and WIF sensor just be bagged and zip tied somewhere. |
