I'm not good with youtube vids, so my privacy setting may be wonky.

This is a vibration I get when accelerating. It eminates from the dash or firewall on the passenger side.

Is anyone else getting this, or know the source? I have tried to isolate it, but tough to do when driving.

I had a similar metallic vibration rattely sound coming from my passenger side.
I thought it was one of the exhaust heat shields but it turned out to be a broken transmission dipstick tube.

This is exactly why I ask these things. These CRDs are good, and we are our own techs. We can either chase our tails, or leverage from each other's experiences.

Thanks for the lead.

Probably motor mount going bad. Took me months tracking down the same problem on mine.

I just happened to go check my transmission fluid today, and all the others, and as soon as I pulled on the handle the whole tube snapped off about a foot down where there is a bracket. I'm going to try not to drive it until i can get it replaced. That's crazy though, I've never heard of that happening before!

Not unheard of and replacement is difficult. Some have simply taken a length of appropriate hose; slit it so it will slid past the bracket and secured it above/below the break with worm clamps.
