 Post subject: Potential point of wiring harness damage you should check

You all should check the cast aluminum brace that goes from the back of the alternator to the side of the rocker cover. Mine still had the casting "inlets" on it and has managed to rub through the side of the wiring harness that is routed there, causing me to have intermittent transmission faults. Just take the brace off and grind off the big sharp jabbie things that will rub a hole in your harness, if they are there.
