I've been chasing all kinds of electrical gremlins lately.
First was the wiring to the rail pressure sensor.
Then the wiring to the MPROP.
And now I have this problem...

Driving to work this morning, started up and drove great.
Slowed down as I pulled up to the gate and the engine started stumbling like it wanted to die.
It never did die, and I drove on through.
Same thing happened saturday afternoon and was very intermittent.

When I pulled into the parking lot this morning, I checked for codes. P0652 was the only code.

Isn't that code for an injector? Sorry I can't be much help, I'm in a tractor and don't have access to the fsm.

P0652 is sensor reference voltage low.
Does not specify which sensor.
According to the book it could be:
INTERMITTENT DTC
5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
BOOST PRESSURE SENSOR
FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
ENGINE CONTROL MODULE

But given that it runs great when cold and doesn't start acting up until engine gets hot, I'm leaning toward the crankshaft sensor.

I have a spare MAP and spare rail pressure sensor. So I could try swapping those out to see what happens.

As much trouble as you've had lately, I'd be on the lookout for a cheap ECM just in case. Maybe someone has one they'd sell you?

When leaving work, it was spittin and sputterin pretty bad. And this was with a cold engine so I guess that rules out the crank sensor.

While it was doing this, my fuel rail pressure gauge was acting very erratic. So I stopped and unplugged the rail pressure sensor. That smoothed out the engine and made it drivable again, but in limp mode with limited power.
So I guess I will start by swapping the rail pressure sensor.

Dang, this sucks... I wonder why you have all those electric gremlins, but I wonder, isn't it easier to just replace the cps? And also, I heard of some cases where bcm connectors are corroded, I think it won't be a big deal looking into that also. Sorry, I one have no better advice...

With all the random issue you've been having, I'm wondering if there is a bad ground for the ECM.

This morning before driving to work I swapped out the fuel rail pressure sensor.
Drove to work and the engine ran great. Lets hope it stays that way.

There was just one issue though.
Right before pulling into the gate, the boost hose popped off the intake elbow. :x
I guess I need to stop going to work
