 Post subject: water pump help

so i am in the middle of timing belt change. i can not find torque for the front half of water pump can someone please help me out.

I ran into the same problem, and just did good and tight. Not so tight as to strip threads, but pretty darn tight so it's not coming loose. Or, if no one knows, just put it fairly tight with some blue locktite. :2cents:

Yeah, just wing it :shock:. There are some critical torques when working on this vehicle. The pump body fasteners aren't one of them.

All the front bolts do is 1) hold the 2 halves together and 2) compress the "O" ring enough to seal. So what Mountainman says is just fine.
