I just changed the belt and in the process of getting it back together. I saw the bolt torque should be 22 ft. Lbs and i saw in this forum someone say 28 ft lbs. What is the correct torque? i torqued it to 22 ft lbs but now reading abouy 28 ft lbs has me thinking if i should open it up torque it 6ft lbs more?

I do 30 Newton Meters, 22 Foot Pounds should be good. The 28 you saw was probably NM

30N-m/22 ft. lbs - be kind of careful here as several I've seen have a helicoil installed in that threaded hole from the factory.
