I have antifreeze dripping from the bottom of my turbo. I carefully checked all of the hoses above this area and they are not leaking. Does the turbo have antifreeze running thru it?

I used a pressure tester to bring the antifreeze up to 10PSI before I could see the leak. It does not leak when it is not under pressure.

I can not see it well enough to determine if it is coming from the block or head. The only place I see antifreeze dripping is under the turbo.

Is it safe to use a head gasket sealer in the antifreeze on a CRD?

I suspect you have a cracked head. If you pull the turbo and pressurize the cooling system, look inside the exhaust ports for leakage.

The turbo is oil cooled.

If there is antifreeze dripping from the Turbo, you have some rather large issues.

Before you assume horrible things take a look at the passenger side images at viewtopic.php?f=98&t=74594

That rectangular thing with hoses running to it is the oil cooler which is water cooled. Plus you have the coolant bypass hose and lower radiator hose port just above. Dig around in there, you will likely have to remove the air box to get decent access, and I suspect you will find a leak that under pressure is spraying coolant back on the turbo which then drips off the bottom of the turbo.

If not then think of horrible things.
