Anybody have advice on what to buy or not buy for a full crd carpet replacement.j

I put that vinyl molded flooring. It is soft, but easy to cut. I first put por15 down let it dry then a foil insulation for heat protection (from Eastwood) none of this was cheap. Looks good. I ground off the nubs on my husky liners. The do move around but only bothers me getting in not out.

I have purchased carpet sets from https://www.accmats.com/ in the past. The carpet was molded like factory and fit perfectly. The carpet I purchased was not for a Liberty, however.

Is the Jeep quieter with the insulation and what not. I always wondered if it was worth putting in mass loaded vinyl and insulation for sound deadening.

Don t understand, how could it fit perfectly if it was not from a liberty?

carefully read the post which says the product he purchased from the company he listed fit the vehicle he purchased it for perfectly. The point is the product was good which implies a CRD carpet set from that company would be good also.

Setting that aside carpet in the KJ CRD shouldn't be anything different from carpet in a KJ gasser so find a reputable online company and order carpet. I'd be inclined to avoid a discout company whose initials are JCW.

FYI if your carpet is just filthy dirty as opposed to worn out I'd pull it out; give it a good washing/scrubbing; let it dry; and reinstall. Not much more work than new carpet and a whole lot cheaper.

Actually it is a lot less work to clean the existing carpet than to put new in. The new carpets typically come with no holes or trimming. You would have to cut all the openings for the seat belts, bolts, cables, etc., and then trim the edges to fit the contour of the vehicle. It's amazing what a little detergent/degreaser, scrub brush, garden hose, sunshine and elbow grease can do to old carpet.

Tks, but it s bad ugly. Dog hair, hydraulic oil, motor oil, texas Clay, misc unknowns. But you re right. May be less work to clean it up. That s a bit more important than the cost of new carpet that I have to fit.

I've purchased cheap carpet from JC Whitney and I had to trim and cut, etc. The carpet I purchased from ACC was molded to fit and required no cutting or trimming.
