I know that there aren't really any CRD mechanics in Northern California, and unfortunately I couldn't work out the logistics of having geordi do the work when he was out here earlier this year (although now I'm wondering if I should have tried harder to rearrange my schedule!).

It's time for my timing belt change, and I'm planning to do the water pump and fancy new thermostat at the same time. I don't think it's the sort of thing I should do on my own, so I'm wondering if there is anyone in the greater Bay Area with experience, tools, and time who'd be available to collaborate (of course for compensation).

There's a member in Modesto area who tackled similar issues on his CRD maybe you can request him and work out something.

Is there a way to search for members by Location? The "Members" list says you can sort by Location, but it doesn't actually show any location information.
