Hello Fellas,

What is the wheel stud thread pitch on our CRD Liberty?

Something isn't right.

I'm in a nice warm shop today(11* outside), got 20 new SS lug nuts from Gorilla, and they don't seem to fit. Wanted to get this done today because the nut covers are breaking off from the nuts and I really don't want to get stuck on the road because I can't get a wheel lug nut off.

Gorilla says 12MM x 1.50 for our vehicle
Summit says 1/2 in. x 20
Owners manual says Jack.

Can one of you fellas please let me know ASAP?

Much Appreciated.

1/2" x20 tpi and the hex size (where the wrench fits) is 3/4" They are called acorn nuts and you can get a 20 piece set for about $20 on e-bay :SOMBRERO:

I bought 3 sets. One for each jeep and another for my camper

No more rusty nuts with the cheap caps falling off :JEEPIN:

Are the CRDs any different than the rest of us? If not then 1/2 RH 20. At least that's what the McGard kit I bought was. They fit fine.

Thanks fellas. Yes, I guess it is 1/2 x 20.

Again, call em up, pack it up, return it, re-order, try again.

There's no such thing as a bolt-on!

Does anybody have links to the appropriate solid stainless lug nuts for our OEM wheels?
