I have intermediate brake and ABS light coming on with the typical odometer stops working when lights are on. my first guess was the rear diff sensor sense i changed it recently and ah damaged the connector...So i replaced the connector along with replaced one wire that had an internal break. started her up and drove 25 yards before the lights went off. now the ABS and brake light come on when ever i make sharp left turns or left turns while hitting a bump...so far its only left turns that seem to cause the ABS and brake light to turn on. the quick fix is to just straight the wheel out and turn the car off then back on and viola the light are off again. Im guessing at this point im looking at a bad ABS sensor on one of the front wheels but how would i test them to figure out which one is bad?

after playing with the problem for a little while and trying to recreate it to isolate it, it has now become rather random when the light turns on. sharp left turns no longer are causing it...I know for a fact that im getting good current thought the rear sensor harness of 12v, and i replaced that sensor maybe a year ago and last time that sensor went out the lights just stayed on. so still thinking it may be a front sensor but never dealt with bad ABS sensors untill i got this jeep.

Is there a Jeep part number for the wire harness in to the Differential? I am having the same problem, it mainly happens when I drive the Jeep for long distances say over 2hr or so not on my daily commute of around 35 miles each way.

Check the front wiring loom just before the connectors for the sensor wire. mine was broken internally giving an intermittent ABS fault when driving over rough ground. Found it by luck by pulling on the wiring loom.

It looks like this guy is cheaper:

Somewhere, there is a kit with just the 2 wires with the right ends crimped on to just be inserted into the connector.
