My Liberty is throwing an engine code for a bad glow plug. It shouldn't be a big deal to replace, but I don't know if it has the old 5v or the new 7v glow plugs. Is there a simple way to tell so I can be sure that I am ordering the correct part?

For the glow plugs, you can simply look at them and there should be a colored ring near the end where the plug slides over it:

White = Bosch 7v Ceramics
Red= Bosch 5V Steel, Jeep's replacement for the ceramic s
No Ring = Etencno Steel

The above info is a quote that I copied from a winterizing thread. This information was supplied by Masshole.

Or you can just open it up and check the rim around the threads. It will have voltage written on the rim.
