Having issues getting the jeep to shift into third. Shifts from first to second fine, but will not take third until I let off. Any advice? |

When's the last time you changed your fluid and filters? Start there. *Edited to add* The solenoid pack tends to go bad in these 545RFE Transmisions. You'll see below that I added a Transgo kit to mine when I had to replace the solenoid pack due to a problem in shifting from 2-3. (Mine actually went into Limp Mode and gave a CEL though) Since you're not going into limp mode, and it WILL shift, I would try the cheaper route (still not entirely cheap) of changing the fluid and filters first. |

The filters have been changed about 30k ago. Forgot the interval to be exact. Thanks for the reply |

I think it was I. Limp mode. Messed with some sensors and it came back to life. |
