So,

The ongoing saga from this thread:

I have been marinading the intake head/valve cover in diesel for a few days.... and, yes, I forgot to remove the cam position sensor and the MAP....

question is, have I screwed the pooch and killed both sensors?

I went to change the bathwater (so to speak) and soak the head a while to give it a good clean and when I pulled the intake from the bath, I noticed that neither sensor was removed from the intake! :banghead:

At this point I can only say :ROTFL: at myself...

The wife is begining to give me "the look" :roll:

They are probably fine.......but you'll know when you try and fire it up.

The map is the super sensitive one. Good thing someone tracked down the GM (I think) version that's the same part, and it's like $30 vs Chrysler $150? or something crazy. I agree though, probably fine, especially the cam since it's just a prox sensor, unless that juice got inside of it :grim:
