Smoke would suggest that you are not getting enough air/boost, however you say you have full power and no smoke. That suggests to me that you are making plenty of boost. Why are you getting low boost codes then? I would guess that maybe the MAP is reading low and the jeep is trying to compensate and possibly over boosting in the process. You should see 2200-2300 mbar of boost at full throttle. It hits about 2300 at ~2000rpm and drops to 2200 by 4000rpm. pjlasota wrote: torque on android? Black smoke is unburnt fuel, stench, and a bad reputation for diesels. Why would you need that, anyway? Note: I usually drive pretty reserved, and rarely exceed 2,000 rpms. As such, I tend to get a little carbon build-up in my exhaust system. If someone pisses me off enough, I'll stop the throttle (bad for a diesel, I know) to hit 3K revs just enough to belch that cloud of built up crap out, but only if their windows are open. |
