First off I do ALL highway driving right now. so I thought I'd toss in a K&n panel filter for a few fill-up to see how it does. I got it on ebay, used for $30 shipped out of a Grand Cherokee.

historically I have gotten around 21-23 mpg and now i'm roughly 1-2.5 clicks above that. also it seems like I can accelerate to pass without the tranny downshifting as much as before.

might be worth it for those of us who don't live in the dust bowl.

if I can maintan 25.4 MPG (last tank) it will pay for itself in 1500 to 3000 miles compared to what I get now.
