So, The ongoing saga from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=83956 I have been marinading the intake head/valve cover in diesel for a few days.... and, yes, I forgot to remove the cam position sensor and the MAP.... question is, have I screwed the pooch and killed both sensors? I went to change the bathwater (so to speak) and soak the head a while to give it a good clean and when I pulled the intake from the bath, I noticed that neither sensor was removed from the intake! At this point I can only say at myself...The wife is begining to give me "the look" |

They are probably fine.......but you'll know when you try and fire it up. |

The map is the super sensitive one. Good thing someone tracked down the GM (I think) version that's the same part, and it's like $30 vs Chrysler $150? or something crazy. I agree though, probably fine, especially the cam since it's just a prox sensor, unless that juice got inside of it
