The weekend has begun, so unless you have the IDparts kit already in hand, I will unfortunately be unable to take on any more members for this particular trip. But feel free to message me and we can schedule another trip in the future for your CRD when there is more notice. Sorry for the short notice if I missed you!

Travel alert!

If you live on I 70 between Louisville Kentucky and Denver, if you need a timing belt contact me now! I am currently en route right now today, towards Idaho. There is an opportunity to have your timing belt done on either my way out or my way back, but the parts need to be ordered today.

The total cost for the labor and parts, is $1400. Normally, I would ask for travel expenses for the entire trip. But this is a special opportunity and everyone who signs on will only pay travel of $150 for the stop over. I can except credit cards, if that helps you out.

Message me or reply here, and get your timing belt done for a screaming deal! Please don't delay, parts have to be ordered today in order to arrive while I am en route.

Or, you can ask the group here how to do the timing belt yourself, and save some money.

Thanks for your input. I have no problem with anyone that feels comfortable enough to do the work themselves.

Why do you seem to have an issue with my alerting anyone that might not feel so confident about my travel plans? What have I done that has annoyed you so much?

I have an issue with you advertising a commercial service on the forum.

This may come as a shock to you, but there are advertisements on the Internet.

As the time to be able to order the parts and receive them before this trip has ended has passed, I am closing this trip alert. Have a good evening until my next travel alert.

Sounds good, I will be here. If you start receiving coolant alarms, that is the indicator that your head gasket has started leaking. If that happens, plan for sooner rather than later. The earlier it is resolved, the better the results.

If lived in the States I would have had geordi do my timing belt rather than having to use the Jeep Dealers here!

There are plenty of "How To Replace Timing Belt" topics on this forum as well as the other Jeep forums but I am a bit too old and damaged to do this myself...geordi is providing a great service here for USA CRD owners!
