| Post subject: | Liberty CRD Ujoint |
Hi all, The Jeep was lifted recently (5.5 cm in the back, 4.5 cm in front), and I think I am experiencing some ujoint vibration that wasn't there before the lift. I am looking at replacing both ujoints on the drive shaft. Is this the correct ujoint for a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD (according to Moogparts.com it is but want to make sure) ? http://www.amazon.com/280-Super-Strengt ... 1_1&sr=8-1 Is there a guide on how to do this ? Is there an easy way to diagnose ujoint issues by lifting the rear ? ps. I was advised by Moogparts.com that tie rod ends ES800088 and ES800087 fit the 2006 Jeep Liberty, but they do not fit as they are too short. Hence why I want to make sure I purchase the correct parts as shipping is expensive from Australia to US. KJ75 |

I have something similar going on and posted my question here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=84510 I bought the ujoint you liked (x2) and haven't installed them yet. I'm looking for the boot since that has to be taken apart to remove the drive shaft. My symptom sounds similar, intermittent vibration that comes and goes at different speeds. It started very slightly after my lift was installed and has gotten worse. |
