Does any one used vm.1067 tool for pump removal? Is it possible to copy this tool?

I use it because I got it in the kit, but I've heard of people using some sort of puller kit instead, maybe it was a steering wheel puller, or universal puller kit. You can probably find something for cheap or fab one up. Trying to remove it without a puller is really difficult.

Oh, and that's just for the sprocket, getting the pump out of the mount will probably require making an appropriate jig, and a shop press. I know people have used a hammer, but that has ended badly at least once, as they get welded in there really bad with corrosion.

But isn't this tool for removing pump without timing belt removal?

oh yeah, I forgot about that. I haven't used it for that, as the CP3's rarely ever fail. If you're replacing one, you probably want to run all of your symptoms and such by us here, as many people have swapped CP3's only to find that it didn't cure the problem :2cents:

Hopefully someone will comment that has used the 1067 for pump removal. I just used it to pop the sprocket off
