I enjoyed the challenge of working on it and keeping it running good but I have to uncomplicated my life as much as possible now that I'm nearing retirement. The VW jetta TDI will soon be taken away so needed to find something reliable for all those cross country trips I'll be taking.

I want to thank you all for the helpful advice you've given me over the years. This board gave me the confidence I lacked to accomplish such task as Changing my own timing belt, Installing the SEGR, Cleaning the Map sensor, and installing a fuel pump.

If your looking for a 2006 Limited Black CRD Liberty I traded it in at Superstition Springs Jeep Chrysler Dealership in Mesa AZ. It has 134k miles and is in great shape. They gave me 8000 for it and they hope to break even on it so let me know if you need any more info on it.

Is your Jetta TDI part of the impending VW Settlement? What are you looking to replace it with? I have a Jetta TDI Sportswagon subject caught up in this mess.

Don't let VW steal your cars for their screwup. If you want to get rid of that, there are plenty of people that would be willing to buy them.

Yes my Jetta's eligible for the buy back. I looking at the Jeep Trailhawk , seems to have good road manners and would be fun on the dirt roads and in the snow up in Flagstaff. I took it on a test drive up in the mountains and it did great but not like the Libby. I really liked how the Libby road up the mountains. I'm missing it already.

Yes I won't give up the Jetta for nothing. Would like to get an offer of 14K.
