Is undercoating imortant??

My jeeps body is nearly spotless and spent most of its life in the northeast. Not sure how the bottom got so messed up on the one you looked at. My axles and stuff have rust on em but so does my 1 year old F150.

I would think that the question of applying more protection for the vehicle depends on how long you intend on keeping it and how much you personally like it. If its already super clean underneath and you intend on keeping it I would definitely invest a bit into improving the protection.

I think they are great little vehicles.. once you undo the bean counter engineering and perform the required maintenance, but if you cant handle the fickle Italian mistress and intend on moving on it might not be worth your time.
