Does anyone know what specific version of the CP3 pump our jeeps have? I was surfing TDI club and it seems they have several versions rated for different flow rates and pressures. Some of the names I saw thrown around were R90 and L110. Has anyone had the pump out or gotten a close look to see if it says anything?

Thanks!

Im only guessing, but its bosch's "standard" to label the rotation and plunger size without a decimal. R90 could be right hand rotation, 9.0 plunger size. L110 could mean left hand rotation 11.0 mm plungers? Like insaid im only guessing but this is how they labeled there other pumps.

That makes complete sense.

I will try to remember to take a look when I get back home from the current trip, I have several pumps out sitting on a shelf where I can easily inspect them. Considering how our pump is installed, I would suspect it will be a Right hand and a smaller number. The potential max flow rate for an engine this size is probably somewhere around 10 gallons per hour, so the pump doesn't need to be huge. Much of the flow rate is based on the pulley size however, so maybe the number refers to the diameter or radius of the pulley and all the pumps are the same?
