Any codes?
If you haven't replaced the fuel filter, now might be the time.
Check fuel filter head for leaks and check the two wire connectors for signs of fuel leak.

I doubt the problem is related to the EGR delete. Sounds more like a fuel problem.

Any check engine light?

If not I had a similar issue and the crank sensor was at fault.

There is a bracket behind and above the FCV/EGR VALVE . Make sure the wire bundle behind it is not pinched and grounding out.

That issue caused my crd to be stranded for over a week and a half. Frayed clamped wires.

Yes I changed fuel filter and have checked for wires pinched, I had a check engine light before I did delete kit, I'm thinking it's a fueling issue not sure where to start though
