Found this poorly labeled/blurry pictured Apparent CRD at a shady car lot whilst surfing Detroit metro craigslist. https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5627161641.html As it is apparently labeled as a DSL???? Says it runs and drives and has working A/C and all for the Low low price of $3900?!?!?!with 114,000 miles So either the dealership is pricing it as a gasser, or they are shadier than a shadow at midnight at the bottom of the ocean (most likely). As far as I can tell the vin search does in fact come up as a diesel. May be a steal for someone looking for a used CRD or could be a giant Lemon they are trying to wash their hands of. A phone number lookup leads to the dealership named Shahara Autosales Inc. located at 20910 John R Rd, Hazel Park, MI 48030. Any hoo thought yall should know if your on the hunt! Might be worth a look for the apparent low mileage/price, bring a flashlight to wade through the shadiness tho.... |

On the VIN the engine code is "5" so its a CRD |

Kidding aside, the first thing that comes to mind is that someone found out how much the TB is, and wants to dump it. That, and likely doesn't have the ECO tune, either, so the CELs are diminishing the perceived value of the vehicle. Could be a steal. |

yeah there is a guy around this area selling just a "rebuilt" CRD 2.8 Engine for $3800, $100 more and you get a whole driving CRD jeep to put things into perspective. |
