Has anyone here shaved their cv's and gone over 3"lift?

I really don't know what my lift is at since I've never measured, but I would say I am probably approaching 4" on the front and have not needed shaved CV from what I can tell. I have the JBA 2.5" springs in the rear plus an extra ISO and the front end is still ever so slightly higher.

My biggest issue at this point is that every time my tire goes through a dip in the road I bounce my upper arms off the bottom of the pockets. I've seen conflicting reports here as to whether the pockets should be trimmed down or not to make clearance.

How hard do you push it off road do you wheel it in sand,mud and rock?
