tried to jumper the fan relay and engine died and wont resta

as the title says, I was trying to see if the efan worked at all and I think I jumpered the wrong pins. engine died amd won't restart. did I fry something expensive?

forgot to add that everything else seems to work, although my starter is on a separate switch bypassing its relay

Check all your fuses.
I had a similar thing happen to me. It popped the ASD fuse. Engine would crank but not start.

I checked fuses but ill go double check that particular one. thanks

Yeah double check the fuses.

What year is your CRD?

So does the engine turn over....using your bypass switch...but not fire?

yup, the dash lights up when you turn the key and I can crank the starter all the live long day, but she doesn't even hint at firing.
she's at a dealership now. hopefully Monday we csn get some answers.
