I installed a lift on my crd last weekend. during the install the battery was unhooked for more than two days. after reinstalling the battery the average mpg and miles till empty both say zero. what might have caused this?

Power was lost, capacitors drained, and memory was lost.
Perfectly normal.

I would guess until you put enough miles on it to calculate an average MPG reading again. Shouldn't take long.

Figured it out. I damaged the wheel speed sensors while installing the lift. My odometer and trip meter have quit accumulating miles. Speedo still works though.

Yes the ABS light is on. I didn't realize that would matter to the odometer. I figured the odometer got its signal from the tranny like the speedo.

The transfer case on the KJ no longer has the speedo pickup on it, the speedo pickup is on the rear diff on the 02-05. 06 KJs have 4 speed pickups, one per wheel, and the ABS/ESP unit reads the speed from some combination of those.
