what is this code? I can clear it but it comes back in a few days. Seems to come on only on cold morning starts. I have found generic P009 code listings but nothing specific to the "a".

Hi LazyK,

P009A refers to "Intake Air Temperature/Ambient Air Temperature Correlation." Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I'm not able to provide technical advice, so I would have to defer to our dealership technicians for assistance. Sorry about that, I was hoping the code information would help more!

Two questions:

1. What tool are you using to pull codes?
2. Other than the CEL, what symptoms are you experiencing?

im using the GDE programer/scan tool. no other known symptoms. I would suspect a decrease in fuel mileage but have not done the calculations to confirm

Its such an odd code. Have you tried contacting GDE about it?

But if it doesnt cause any problems, maybe just let it ride.

Do you have that little duct that runs from the air filter box to the front grille in place? If not, maybe you are pulling hot air from the engine bay into the intake and the ECU is like wtf is going on.
