Hi all. I have an 06 liberty crd . I got this car a few months back. After I bought it I took it on a road trip. When I came back I noticed it was smoking and leaking oil. Researching the problems led me to this forum and I was thankfully able to fix most. I'm currently not driving the jeep due to a oil leak from the bottom of the turbo.
Anyways the current problem is I noticed a fuel smell and saw a small fuel puddle near the front injector. After cleaning it up and running it I found the leak is coming from the fuel line injector connection. I foolishly decided to try tighten it myself. Now there is more fuel leaked is much worse and the jeep cranks but won't start. Any advice on how to get this jeep started? thanks
If the leak at the injector connection is bad enough to not allow the high pressure fuel rail to build up to the proper pressure, the ECM will not send a signal to the injectors to operate! You will have to fix the fuel leak before it will start!
