Hi all. I have an 06 liberty crd . I got this car a few months back. After I bought it I took it on a road trip. When I came back I noticed it was smoking and leaking oil. Researching the problems led me to this forum and I was thankfully able to fix most. I'm currently not driving the jeep due to a oil leak from the bottom of the turbo. Anyways the current problem is I noticed a fuel smell and saw a small fuel puddle near the front injector. After cleaning it up and running it I found the leak is coming from the fuel line injector connection. I foolishly decided to try tighten it myself. Now there is more fuel leaked is much worse and the jeep cranks but won't start. Any advice on how to get this jeep started? thanks |

You will have to fix the fuel leak before it will start! |

Also could have air in there. Id bet the line going from the rail to the injector has a crack in it. |

It took a long time cranking to get my engine started after I pulled my injectors and rail when I didnt the rockers and head studs. It took a couple of restarts. to really clear things out it seemed |

Hi thanks. Whats the recommended procedure for tightening the connection? Can I damage the injector in this process? |

I waited a few days, properly tightened it and it started again. |
