Anybody ever had issues with the harness connector to the ECU

My jeep runs rough with no power sometime. I can fix by it playing with the harness connector.
recently I clean and and apply some dielectric grease on the connector to help prevent vibration.
It help for a while but sometime I got little bug while driving and it trow me a bunch a fault code. I'm pretty sure it's the connector as the jeep runs fine 99% of the time.

Any idea to fix this issue would be appreciated

Thanks

Seb

if you own a 2006 model, then check the harness for chaffing (cuts, rubbing) just behind the fuel filter, those wires have been known to get rubbed bare at that spot.

Can you list the codes?

I haven't had any problems with the ECU connector but I have had problems with various sensor connectors that required replacement.

That was my first tought until I figure it's actually the connector to the ECU, if I push on it, the injector #2 quit working , play a little bit with it and it comes back.

And for the fault codes here is the list P0045 P0073 P0090 P0107 P0113 P0118 P0183 P0193 P0202 P1250 P2294

I think most of em might be related to the my webasto , having no map sensor, running the Eco tune and maybe the lift pump and the injector #2 is the P0202

Open up the suspect connector...disconnect battery first....and check that where the wires are crimped into the pins they are not loose....not easy if you do not know which exact wire is causing the problem but work on #2 injector position first. So unwrap the insulation tape in that area and try wriggle one wire at a time. The female pins can also lose tension so they can be slightly tensioned carefully with a tiny Jeweller's screwdriver! :?

I cleared all fault codes last week and the connector hasn't been acting lately and I have no more fault codes.

If it happen again I guess then I will check the connector more carefully for loose pins !!!!!

thanks
