Fluid shouldn't have anything to do with it, it should be reading a mechanical tone wheel. No codes?

The rear sensor was covered with grit/shavings, so maybe the tone ring is compromised? I will check it and see.

I unplugged the rear sensor and the Brake Light comes on, plug it back and it goes out. Which leaves me to believe the
wiring is still correct?

Sounds like the rear sensor is at least sending continuity... No idea if it is reading the pulses though but that would be why the ABS light is on - that system is obviously not happy because it isn't getting the information it needs.

As far as the crap on the sensor magnet, that sounds normal, it will attract any wear metals that come off the gears and are floating around in the soup. Since you are planning to open that, be ready for a day of smelling like friction modifier - Yuck! Use good synthetic gear lube when you reassemble. I'm a fan of 70w/140 Mobil but I'm not sure the ratings that the CRD is supposed to get. If there is a "severe service" category, use that. Nobody but nobody is ever on the non-severe-service schedule.

Stuck a Screw Driver in the whole the rear sensor came out and all comes out clean. It has only been like 5000 miles since I changed it last, so I figured that was not it.

Back to square one I guess?

GPS is still messed up.
No ODO.
No brake light.
ABS light on.
ABS does NOT Work.
Replaced both front hubs not very long ago as well, so can't think that's the problem?

Could very well be the front hubs - I just bought a set from Amazon (have not even opened the boxes) but from what I recall the sensors are included if not built-in to the front hubs... So could be dodgy sensors in the front too.

If it's a 2005 CRD, then it most likely is the internal broken wire syndrome at the rear abs sensor on top of the differential... replace 16" connector wire, dealer part $14,00 and it comes with new connector. Only happens to the 2005 CRDS... the 2006 does not have the sensor on the diff.

Would the Brake light not be On if it was the wiring?

They are Moog Hubs, the best you can buy?
