Discount Tires is doing their $100 of $400 *right now* on Ebay. I just ordered four Cooper Discoverer AT3s in 235/75-16 for $350 shipped. They only had Load Range E tires in 225 widths, and I don't need an LRE tire on a commuter car. I agonized over replacing the spare, but I just don't think I'll ever need it, and at least one of the tires on the Jeep now can hang out and get old back there just in case. No point in spending $100 so a tire can just age out. Should be a fine tire for getting around and maybe a little fun in the dirt & snow this winter. Cooper has a $70 rebate on four of these tires, so that will fully cover mounting and balancing once they show up. YEAH!

Do a 5 tire rotation and get 20% more tread life from the set of tires.

Because I have 11 vehicles at home it's very unusual for me to wear out tires - usually they end up getting replaced due to age. The 55,000 mile warranty on the Coopers will last 7-9 years, long beyond the point they're safe to drive on anyway.

I picked up a set of Discoverer ATP's this morning on this deal. I was not going to get Coopers because I am not impressed with the AT3's that the PO has on the Jeep right now. But, for $274(after $70 cooper rebate) I could not pass them up. Don't forget about that rebate!!!

Yep, DTD emailed me an invoice this morning so the rebate is already submitted. So smooth!!
