Hi guys, I have a 09 KK 76,000 miles I'm looking to do an oil change, MAP clean, MAF clean and a transmission fluid change in the coming weeks. Not being very mechanical I'm looking to get familiar with the engine etc, I have fortunately got a family member who I'm hoping will lend a hand on a couple of things but would like to tackle most of it myself, I'm not 100 where everything is in relation to the engine so hoping someone can point me in the correct directions, almost like a dummies guide to an engine for a dummy I have seen a guide but for an earlier model of kk which helped me understand why to do them but doesn't help me know where they are This in my engine bay, I know the obvious ones, brake fluid, coolant, oil (under cover) air filter, which has a sensor? MAF? ![]() ![]() I'm hoping someone can show me the way and lend a hand Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I guess you are in the UK? You wont find much info here on your CRD. Yours is the newer version of the VM 2.8 its not available in the US as far as I know. |

Probably for the front diff. The black cap, I am unsure, can not read it in the pic. |

The sensor with the red tab in the first picture is the maf. The sensor just below it on the side of the air box is an ambient pressure sensor, or at least it is on our KJ crds. I don't see the MAP sensor in any pics you sent but on our KJ it's toward the back of the intake manifold on the right side(looking from the front of the car). Edit: now that I'm looking, that black plug just below the green breather in the last picture looks like it may be for the MAP sensor. I would check there. |
