| Post subject: | Battery Terminal Replacement |
Hi All, I'm looking to replace both my terminals. It seems that when tightening them they have buckled and now deformed the battery terminal. So before I replace the battery I want to change the terminals. What is recommended ie type, size, construction etc. From Google I assume solder ones are the best. It looks pretty easy to do or should I get a professional to do it? Thanks in advance. Cheers Chris |

Replace them with military type terminals.... |

Best bet: Cut the cable ends off and install solder lugs! Get the Battery Cable Terminals - H/D Truck Military Top Post type and bolt everything together. They are super!!!! I got everything at NAPA, H/D Truck Military Top Post Part No.s: PHI 8618 & PHI 8619 (+ & -) part numbers...
