Like the title says, suddenly my Windows and Sunroof will not work. I have checked both the 15 amp fuse in the dash as well as the 40 amp under the hood. They both checked out fine with an ohm meter. Is there an connection somewhere that they both share that may have come loose. At the window switch in the console maybe or elsewhere? Just looking for suggestions from more experience people than I before I start tearing the interior apart. |

Assuming the fuses are ok and they are the right ones to check, I did not bother to confirm, then did you check to see if there is power too and thru either fuse? If you download a FSM at http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ you can check wiring diagrams assuming you are smarter than me and can read them. |

Fuse no. 1 (15a) page 8W-12-9 in the wiring diagram shows it feeds both the power window relay and the power sunroof relay. The power window relay may be bad. It is located in the Junction Block fuse panel in the left corner of the dash. Also fuse no. 13 (40a) under the hood in the Power Distribution Center feeds this circuit along with several other circuits in the Junction Block. So if you have not lost power to anything else, I would concentrate on fuse 1 and / or the power relay in the dash panel... Always test fuses with a voltmeter or digital test light. Looking at a fuse can be deceiving. Seen this many times!!!! |

Thanks guys. I have already checked both fuse 1 and 13 with an ohm meter and they checked out fine. The horn also still works, and fuse 1 supposedly is also for the horn relay. Ill pull out the multi meter and do some more investigation. Once again, thanks for the input. |
