there is a sticker on the front of my 2006 crd that says caution ceramic glow plugs. thought there was a recall to replace these. was there a factory recall on these?

second the ecu numbers end in 576af, does this mean it is the original ecu and has never been updated?

No recall. 7v ceramics were discontinued. Replaced by 5v metal.

When the dealer performs a ECM update they typically put a sticker somewhere visible in the engine bay.
But sometimes they forget
