The block and bottom end were done by a dealership and I can only say that it seems they did a good job on that (it should have been exactly by the book) and I built everything else above the block. I personally installed: New valves in the head after having the head completely cleaned. Valves were lapped in and don't leak even overnight. New head gasket ARP studs (of course) New rockers and lifters New metal (7v) glow plugs Complete (stage 1 and stage 2) EGR delete Intake elbow kit New timing belt and water pump (of course) New thermostat New fuel filter Engine computer has the power tune on it, no CEL, and the transmission computer is NON-F37 shift points! No transmission shudder. New brake calipers New brakes New wheel bearings All fresh fluids Tires are the Firestone Destinations with a lot of tread left on them, spare looks new. I've put about 10k on it (with oil changes) since the rebuild and it has been getting a consistent 23mpg on the highway at 83mph (GPS) b/c I drive fast. Asking price is $9500 OBO, and delivery is available anywhere in the country for actual costs. Buy it today, have it by Christmas! Emails are preferred b/c the private message system alerts here don't always work for me, but this CRD is ready to go. |

Man I would buy this if I lived in the states. Odd question but I would love to hear how this engine purrrrs with all the right parts in it and new. Any chance for a vid of that? |
